I was an evangelical Christian for 10 yeas. I knew the bible backwards, forwards, and inside out. You could give me any piece of scripture, and I could place it within two verses, if not the exact one.
I tried to live the way Jesus taught us. I turned the other cheek. I gave away all my stuff to those who needed it. I prayed to god continually. It's a load of poppycock. There isn't one word that Christ said that had any worth.
And how good a teacher can one be when one insists that there is a god when there isn't?
The only people who think he was a great teacher are those who believe in gods. Anyone who has actually tried to live by his rules will come very short very quickly.
As for being a misogynist, having had my life destroyed continually by jealous women, in general, I avoid 75% of them.
Oh, yes, and Picasso is considered a great artist, but he treated women very badly.
