I understand where you are coming from. However, I've been published for 60 years, and I was helping you. You want to lose readers, then go ahead and carry on as you are.
When someone tells me that I lost them half way through the article (which has never happened, I listen to them. The trick is in knowing when to listen to people, and when to ignore them.
I have mentioned my typos in my articles to my readers. They've told me it doesn't matter as they read me for content. There are, however, things that do matter. And I mentioned those to yours. They affect your readership.
I have provided a link to someone else. I have known Tony for at least a decade as we've written on many other publications together. And he has been very, very successful in the past.
