I turned 70 a few days ago. I have lived and worked on three continents, in multiple countries. I read for at least 5 hours every single day of my life, and have done so for a lifetime. Included in that, are about 600 books on psychology, self-help, and neurology. I have done more work on myself than you can possibly imagine. I lived through extreme abuse for 42 years, have Asperger’s Syndrome, and an auditory processing disorder. My state income is $204 per month. The rest I earn by writing online. It’s a month-to-month battle. I barely scrape $750 per month, and from long experience, that can drop to $50 in a moment. If I didn’t have loyal readers who contributed to me, I would be out on the street – thanks to conservative and libertarian policies.

I have just relocated to Portugal as it is the cheapest country I can find in western Europe. I am scared that I won’t be able to earn enough money to pay the rent, but I will continue to work until I drop – despite the fact that I have had the harshest, most difficult life available with no fucking help from anybody and constant condemnation from conservatives, etc.

Before you dare to accuse me (or anybody else) of living in an echo chamber, have the courtesy, the intelligence, and the insight, to find out about that person’s life. Here, I wrote an article on living in an echo-chamber – for people like you.

In order for people to know that I am insulting them and belittling them, they have to read what I’m writing, and, hopefully, if I’m referring to them, they will stop reading and go somewhere else. I don’t want them around. I have no interest in influencing them, converting them to my way of thinking, etc.

As I am 70 years old, I’ve already done a substantial amount of growth and I’ve certainly obtained far more knowledge and life experience than most. You’d soon realize that if you had read a substantial amount of what I’ve written. However, you haven’t, so you’re just making assumptions.

I am not filled with hatred. I purposely insult these people for a reason. Our world is dying, and I have to have arguments and be nice to conservatives and libertarians? I don’t think so.
