I think you miss the point that in order to remove lithium from the soil, there are various chemicals involved, and if it's bad now, imagine when the entire world will be running on electric cars.
You also seem to underestimate the waste of materials, the toxic output of plastics, the damage to the earth caused by asphault roads, etc. We cannot go on permitting personal ownership of cars.
Yes, if we had 80 or 100 years left, maybe we could develop these energy sources in the future. And, yes, the people who support this are uneducated. During the next 5 years, the increase in floods, fires, earthquakes, etc. are going to be radical. In 10 years time, the degree of disaster facing us will have wiped out millions and millions of people. Entire cities will be in ruins.
So, what time line is this that you are talking about? That is what I mean about ignorance.
And those individuals who want their own personal transport can go and get fucked. It is not their convenience we are speaking about here. It is the survival of our environemnt and probably extinction of the human race before the end of this century.
You clearly have no idea about how badly our environment is being affected. Nor do you have any conception of time lines, etc. Might I ask you how old you are and what your level of education is, because I find your response mind boggling.
