I think what disturbs me about all these articles that we must associate with people who distress us is that the only reason given is that we would only be hearing the opinions of our friends if we did that.

Does nobody read these days? Why do we have to speak to other people in order to know what is going on. It is my experience from reading extensively that very few people who one speaks to have got accurate information. Nor do they want to speak about anything serious.

The only way obtain a balanced viewpoint is to read widely, from all aspects, and the media from as many countries as possible.
