I think the difference is that I have a global view, both historically and geographically, and I see that when societies begin to break down (including Greece and Rome), it has more to do with a social structure being destroyed.
Yes, I also don't like it when other people want to impose their value system on me, but that's exactly what this article is about. Some people (a great many people) believe that if you don't adhere to their way of seeing things, then you must be forced to do so. This is the clashing of culture that I am talking about here, and I don't think it is solely based on money/economics.
That said, let's just disagree peacefully. Sorry to have come on so strongly. :)
