I think I figured it out. Medium has a bug in that if one writes a response to someone, and then one blocks them, or they block you, it diverts the comment to the story section. If you're a subscriber, you would have gotten the comment as a story in your email, but I deleted it when I realized what had happened.

I'm so sorry to have that happen. I hope a lot of people didn't take it badly. I did wrote to apologize and explain.

I hope I enjoy Ireland, too. I'm autistic, though, and I'm old (70) so I'm not going anyplace without a mask.
