I suppose you're a blogger and I'm a writer. I would never blog. I earn my money as a writer. I do not sell things or promote a brand or create a brand, etc. in order to earn a living. I simply write.

Setting up one's own site runs intoa myriad problems. The competition from other sites is enormous. I suppose if one is selling something, eventually, the sheer number of articles one writes about the product will give one's site a hook on Google traffic, but there is no guarantee.
