I spent 11 years in the USA. The degree of stress, mental illness, and obesity is horrendous. I suppose it depends on what you call 'working.' I have lived in 5 countries in the EU, and, sad to say, life is much better here.

Of course, you will see those things as problems. Fuck industry. And, for the record, when I arrived in America in 2003, it was behind the UK in tech, and when I left in 2014, the UK was ahead.

America is fine for the top 10%. For the rest, it's a nightmare.
