I see what you mean by narrow focus. I am unsure how the inflation reduction act does anything to reduce global warming. Are you suggesting that reducing inflation in America will somehow stop toxic production practices in the rest of the world, and somehow put a cap on American consumerism?
Or is your focus so narrow that you don't realize the problem is multi-faceted and international?
The human brain is easily indoctrinated, and childhood conditioning tends to remain for life. Most societies are hierarchal, and the bottom worships/fears the top.
So the top can do whatever it likes.
Consumers in America have the highest per capita use of energy in the world. How does stopping inflation prevent them from using more energy?
