I often come up with that screen. It only remains a moment and then it switches to my story. Not sure why it happens. Medium's software is pretty shitty at the moment.

A lot of people think that writing is an easy way to make money. it's one of the most difficult and frustrating jobs there are - unless you are employed full time as a writer.

Writing on content writing sites, most people earn a few bucks a month, and that's it. On Medium, only 5% ever earn more than a $100 in a month.

I don't think people make money here by bashing other people. Why do you think that. The people who make money are serious writers.
