I loathe South Africa. I lleft it the first time in 1973, and have been back twice since then. That's it. I cannot stand the country.

I surrendered my green card when I left America, so I can never go back, but I wouldn't want to. I couldn't understand the people. They made no sense to me. And I couldn't relate to the the attitutes of 'take, take, take.' I'm not a taker.

I lived in America for a long time. Most of my friends are American. My daughter is still in America. I receive social security from America ($106). I still have a lot of ties.

Also, I am writing for an American company which is mostly read by Americans. If I wrote about German, French or South African politics, they wouldn't be interested.

Lastly, America has the most powerful military in the world, and she is full of crazy people. A majority of people in the world think that America will start WWIII.

I guess that's it.
