I lived in the States for 11 years (San Diego, Eureka, Houston), and I traveled widely as part of my job for a producer.

I have also been working for American companies, regardless of where I have been for nearly 20 years. Plus, of course, I follow the news and most of my friends are Americans. I also went to college in America.

I very definitely have the experience of having lived in America. :)

I'm curious as to what you think the difference between progressives and leftists are. It's the progressives I have issues with. I used to be a progressive, but as they changed, I drew back.
