I liked your article. I read Evidence that Demands a Verdict somewhere between 1975 and 1979 and couldn't find any evidence in it. The quote you made about if the bible isn't to be believed because it is unreliable historically, etc. is bs. It's like saying, if the sun didn't shine in Scotland for two months, then it couldn't have shone anywhere else.

Even at 25 years old, I picked that up. I did not see one bit of evidence for the existence that proved God existed. I also read numerous documents that were purported to have come from the Vatican and more books than I can remember.

In the end, I decided that thre was no god. If god didn't answer prayers, then he was of no use to me. I certainly don't believe in life after death or hell. My life does just fine without god.

And that sense of awe? I am totally in awe of life, the universe, and everything else. But God? Um. No.

Great article.
