I left Texas (Houston) in 2012, went back to San Diego, and left there 2014. Went to Scotland for a while, then Spain (Andalucia) where the temperature was 108 degrees daily. From there to Cape Town, South Africa, then to Germany, now in Portugal. Basically, wherever I've been, there have been exceptionally hot days.

I don't like cooking. At best, I live on fruit, salads, and I buy roast chicken or tinned fish or something for protein. Or I make a sandwich.

I don't like airconditioning. In Spain, what you do is hang wet towels from the front and back doors, and it cools the air before it enters the house.

Also, the homes are built very differently.They're made of very thicks brick or stone.
