"I know that they're very personal and maybe painful(?), so I applaud your willingness to share."

No, they're not painful or difficult to share. Nothing is painful or difficult for me to share, and it is quite irritating when you tell things to a counsellor and they say,"Thank you for sharing that with me. I know that must have been difficult and painful for you to share."

If there is anything that reveals just how superficial and ignorant counsellors are, it's that sentence. They know nothing of the kind. They're just repeating sentences they heard elsewhere and which they assume is appropriate to the situation. They have no real understanding of the person in front of them..

And if you dare to challenge them on that nonsense, they will tell you that you're in serious need of help and get insulted.

What destroys me is the number of 'writers' who will attack my character and call me every name under the sun because a) something I said forced them to acknowledge to themselves that they probably couldn't write b) something I said exposed the stupidity of what they said.

What also riles me being shadow banned by sites like these. I am always shadow banned, and I guess so long as people at the top hold the power and have strong convictions about what can be said and what can't be said, people like me will never earn enough to live.
