I keep reading how since Elon Musk has arrived, the rate of hate posts have increased. I haven't seen one - not a single one.

However, the degree of vitriol spat out by the left is frightening. They also ignore everything that is being said about the Twitter Files and inject stuff that isn't said.

It appalls me.

Someone told me that the modus operandi on Twitter is to follow people you hate or disagree with, and then, in the comments, you vilify them.

I think that is probably true. So the only way I can explain the media's insistence that hate speech has returned is if these people purposely go to the posts to read them, but they certainly aren't distributed.

I don't know if you read the Twitter files posts I did on FB yesterday (about 10 of them) but they are frightening in the degree that Twitter influenced the narrative.
