I keep reading about the invasion of privacy, about how our information is sold, etc. What difference does it make to me? I truly don't understand.

I'm a writer. I don't have any accounts, except basics like electricity, garbage, water. I seldom buy anything that isn't essential. I ignore ads because I'm not interested in buying stuff.

So they know my name. They know I'm a writer. They know that I'm on the left. They know I have Asperger's. They possibly know that I move from country to country and city to city. But my address is never published, and I seldom buy on the web.

If I do buy on the web, that bank and that address will be changed within a year or two. I'm never statis.

So how does all this affect me?
