I just checked that. 800 of the 1200 kiilled were civilians. 400 were in various sections od security and military. Those included first responders who were not actively serving, but as with all Israelis had military training. They grabbed weapons and went to protect.

It also doesn't include the people who were taken as hostages - they weren't soldiers.

Interestingly, just as one suddenly found out in 2016 who supported Trump, and one was shocked and those people were removed from one's circles, so now Israel is doing the same thing.

I have no sympathy for America at this point. If I am honest with myself, I think Trump will do less damage than the Harris administration will.

I will just sit on the other side of the world and watch this.
