I immigrated to the States for 11 years. I didn't see it that way. What I say was a society where it wasn't so much about inclusivity as about not being able to think independently. It was about being a sheep.

Americans appear to be socialized to 'work as a team,' or to go along with the group.

With regard to diversity, I didn't see that. There is far more diversity in the UK and in South Africa, two other countries I've lived in for long periods of time.
