I have slept in more hostels in more countries than I can count - my first one in Munich, Germany, in 1975.

I will never go near a hostel again - too much chance of getting Covid. Every time one gets Covid, it shortens the telemeres. By the time one has had it five times, apparently, one dies.

For me, it's not about refusing to live in fear of a virus that is highly destructive to the human body. It is about avoiding it at all costs so that I can continue to live healthily.
