I have no understanding why anyone with any sort of emotional maturity would want to constantly parade who they are.

In about 1980, I met an old, old woman. She said that at the turn of the 19th/20 century, people were far more emotionally mature than humanity is now.

since then, I have seen an unbelievable slide. Nobody can stand on their own to emotional feet. Everybody is demanding that others support them emotionally. There is something very, very wrong with people at the moment.
