I have no idea who Samra is. No, my intention is not to make you feel bad. It is to assist you in understanding that there is a difference between a blog which is a sort of informal communication between writers and readers about the writer's personal life.

As a feature writer (which is what draws traffic from outside Medium), one writes about topics that people search for on browsers.

For instance, if you google INTJ woman, one of my articles (on owlcation) should be near the top. That is what Medium is trying to find. Writers who write about topics that readers are looking for. That will bring readers to Medium, and hopefully get them to sign up.
