I have difficulty believing that. Twitter has 450 million monthly users. There are 8 billion people on the planet. There are about 80 million Americans who use Twitter. So that leaves 380 million people.

That's 4.75% of the rest of the world uses Twitter.

I've lived in multiple countries in Africa, Europe, and, of course, in America. Usuage is reasonable in America. Not so much elsewhere.
