I have absolutely no idea why you would think the stories on your publications (the Medium publications) would interest a broad range of people. I know that I have never found anything that interests me on them. Yet every single day of my life I read The Guardian, the Daily Mail, The South China Morning Post, France 24, Der Spiegel, Africa on Line, The Independent, Washington Post, The Atlantic, Psychology today, Popular Science, etc.

You seem to have a crowd of readers who are only interested in a) self help b) learning how to write c) business d) IT.

The day before yesterday I musted every single writing publication and every self-help magazine (oh, and the IT stuff). I was left with very little.

I guess that says it all.
