I guess you're lucky.
I'm not like that. Nor is my daughter. We look at the dangers all the time, and we prepare for them. We wear the right kind of respiratory masks. My daughter and I both wear two respiratory masks - one over the other.
I spent from March last year to June last year telling my daughter to resign her job. At the end of June, she finally did. In November she came to me in Portugal (from Texas). She is not going back to a job. We will find a way.
I'm leaving Portugal for many reasons, but one reason is that in an emergency, my daughter and I will not be helped. We're 'foreigners.' and we don't speak Portuguese.
I've already checked out which places in Ireland has the least fires and the least likelihood of llooding. We're looking at red light facilities to grow food....
And so it goes.
