I gather this is about my blocking her. I scrolled through the people I blocked – Tim Denning, Tom Kuegler, Illumination magazine, numerous people who wrote articles about writing and marketing, etc. And then I found her. Yes, she is blocked.

So, she doesn’t have to read me or put up with me or converse with me. How fortunate for her. What is the problem? “This also means they can’t leave notes on, recommend, or otherwise interact with your content.”

Well, yes, and if I blocked someone, it means I really didn’t want to deal with their crap. As you noted, my article on Israel was fair. I vaguely seem to remember that someone (and it might have been her, or not) made a comment to which I replied. The lady went on to repeat her point. I responded again, and once more repeated my point. Then she repeated what she said (in different words, of course). I blocked her. I don’t have time to keep repeating myself, and no matter how many times she reworded the same point, I wasn’t going to agree. I don’t have the time, and I don’t like the disrespect accorded to me when I take time out of my very busy schedule to actually respond. It’s okay to disagree.

Medium is NOT a social network, and I am under no obligation to respond to someone. Even if it was a social network, I am still under no moral or legal obligation to respond to someone.
