I don't think you actually understand that human beings are animals. They are not entitled to anything. There is nothing written in our genes that propels us to treat people nicely.
You don't seem to understand that a civil right is just a law. And laws come and go. Civil laws, in particular, are subject to whether allowing it will harm the majority or not. So if a particular freedom means that the majority is harmed, that freedom can be withdrawn by the state.
That is the prinicple behind the social contract - that the community is greater than the individual.
People aren't entitled to anything - not a single thing. We merely get lucky, or unlucky.
