I don't think there will be a cease fire, so thinking it's a good idea is fine. I just don't think it's going to happen.

For as long as I've been alive (I'm 72), there have been Palestinians attacking Israel. They simply do not want Israel there. There have been countless opportunities in the past, where the UN has tried to resolve the issues. Israel has been willing. Palestine has not been so willing.

I heard a Palestinian leader say the other day that the worse thing they ever did was decline the UN solution in 1947.
