I don't think so. This is my sister at 62. She doesn't give a damn about fashion or living according to other people's values. Nobody in my family ever has.
She just lived a disciplined life, not because she was trying to live up to others, but because she chose how she wanted to age.
Oh, and all her clothing comes from charity shops. In 40 years, she has never bought new clothing.
