I don't submit to publications either. Actually, while I definitely read topics, I don't read publications.

As people who boost are paid either nothing or very little, I don't think it's in their interests to find stories that may have a high readership. One of my stories currently stands at over 90,000 views and over 60,000 reads, and it has never been boosted.
