I don't, Sam. And I apologize if I offended you. Not my intent. However, we cannot stop the virus in just one way - it needs to be multi-pronged, and it needs to be every country on earth. It is simply not going to die out otherwise.

The social contract is an agreement betwen we-the-people and the government. In order for a country to work cohesively, the government is elected by the majority, and even the people who don't agree with what the government does, have to adhere to the the rule of law. Why? Because the majority said so.

In all governments that I know of, civic rights stop when the population is endangered. I'm not sure why this is not more widely known.

I spent my life being kind to my abusers in the hope that they would change their ways, not be threatened by me, etc. One thing I learnt the long and hard way is that being kind and respectful to ignorant people doesn't make them knowledgeable, being kind and respectful to bullies doesn't stop them from bullying, and so on and so forth.

We have two immense problems on this planet now - climate change and the first of many pandemics. We cannot afford to be divided because this individual thinks this and that individual thinks the other.

This is why I think we will land up with fascist governments...
