I don't reall follow writers so much as I follow writers who are good at particular topics I am interested in. That said, I wouldn't pay $10 a month to read writers. There is far too much writing on the web that is free for me to do that.

My question would be "Is the $10 investment likely to earn me more than $10 back each month?"

So far, I have seen no evidence of that.
