I don’t know about evolving to having no ego. Mine just simply never developecd. I was 62 years old when I realized that people were self-interested.

From that day on, all the confusion about people’s actions and responses made sense to me.

How come I never developed an ego? I suspect my late mother’s constant abuse and insisting that I am entitled to nothing, etc., combined with a couple of other factors led to that condition.
