I don't have one ounce of ambition in me, and I certainly, at 70 years old, have no interest in anything other than survival (and my lovely friends).
I have never seen myself as a feminist because I just don't like the way feminists behave, and I think that they are women with a chip on their shoulders.
For instance, minimum wage is the same for both men and women. In the more senior positions, yes, women do earn less than men, but they negotiated their salaries, and the onus is on them to find out the going rate and negotiate better.
Also, for most of my life, I chose low paying jobs because I didn't want the stress. I had been brainwashed to believe that there was no stress in low-paying jobs because they were easy. In reality, the more senior positions are the easier ones. I pretty much left the work force.
I also don't like the fact that feminists are all about the work force. I don't fucking want to work, and, yes, I feel that angry about it. I wanted to be a housewife, and I unfortunately got caught up in a changing society where men are now paid such low salaries that they can no longer support women.
That is not because I'm lazy - I just prefer to be a homemakes.
