I don't care if Russia is interested in democracy or not. The fact that Putin extended the period for which he can stay in goverment proves he has no love of democracy.

I merely report that Chomsky said that because I think it's unethical to cherrypick what people say in interviews to support a point of view.

The fact remains that Chomsky might well have a point when he says that Bush had an agreement with Gorbachev that NATO would not extend to Russian borders.
