I don't believe there is such a thing as native morality. These things are taught, inbibed, assimilated by the cultures we live in. That's why what one thinks good and evil is different is different in each society.

I do believe, however, that there are those who care about others and those who don't. Caring about others, however, is not what I believe to be the root of morality or ethics.
