I don't believe that. I think it's not so much that the Alt-Left want a one party government as they want everybody to have the same beliefs i.e. a life of ease for everybody.

Plato spoke about this series of events, an extreme end to liberalism, in his book 'The Republic.' My late father called it the excesses of capitalism when I spoke to him about it in 1984 - the first time I realized I didn't like capitalism.
