I do not deny that bias and prejudice exists. I deny that bias is the result of 'white privilege.' You can't blame people if they want to avoid a particular group because they would prefer not to chance it.

There are many groups of people I avoid - religious people, men, people who carry guns,, etc. I am fully aware that within those groups there are perfectly decent people and some wonderful people.

However, I don't have the time or the energy to sort the wheat from the chaff. It's just easier to find friends amongst atheists, women, people who don't carry wespons. Statistically is easier.

I am not justifying the practice. I am clarifying the reality. Minoritiedms will never be welcome by the majority. Here, in Ireland, it's virtually impossible for immigrants to make friends. As a Jew, I am in a country where there are only 2,470 Jews. We live in a pro-Palestine country. It is unrealistic to expect to be welcomed. People stick to their own tribes.

In Africa, where I spent 40 years of my life, the tribes often kill each other. That is why there is so much genocide in Africa. People are tribal. We forget that in our modern world.

As someone who grew up without a tribal, ethnic, religious home of any sort, I have never known acceptance. I could go around blamimg everybody else, or I could just make peace with it, find a place where I am safe, and where I have enough interests to keep me living until my time runs out.

That was my lot when I was born,
