I disagree. I think we overestimate what human beings are capable of paying attention to. I don't think the human being is capable of focusing on too many things at once.

I always point out that electricity for the electric car comes from fossil fuels. I explain that they are built using rare earths which, in turn, need toxic chemicals, in order to be separated from the mother ore, etc. The destruction and pollution is bad. So none of it is earth friendly.

I don't know thesse things because I care. I just have an extremely active brain. I have arrived at the concluson that most people just don't thinkt hat much.
