I can understand what you're saying. For me, writing does the same thing. The words flow into me. I have often thought that they are the composite of all I write.

Also, as I near the end of my life, I see more of the whole picture, and it gives me understanding.

At the village center, there is a book exchange (free), with a book store right next to it, and the library opposite. At any given time, I have a dozen books next to my bed!
