I arrived at the same conclusion. Stubblebine is right. This is a business, and it has to pay. On the other hand, good writing takes time, emotional investment, and energy. if I am to write gratis, then I prefer to write on platforms where I can, at least, say what I like, without endless rules and 'punishment.' I'm an adult.
