Here on Medium, as on every content site, earnings have mostly to do with two things - topic and whether the site promotes one's work or not. I don't see how AI is going to change that

People like Cory Docrorow (and Obama) are given more promotion because they are big names.

I don't see how AI is going to make any difference by imprroving one's headline or writing style.
