I am talking about Ray Dalio. When you say he wants to see humanity prosper, I have to ask you mean. I also want to quote something that I read in wiki that Dalio said.
"As the current crisis unfolds, we should remember that throughout history, capitalism has proven to be the best system, though it can sometimes be highly flawed."
History is an awfully long time, and Mr. Dalio does not appear to know that capitalism is a mere 250 years old, or that Marx foresaw what is happening today. In fact, my late father wrote an article in the 20s - a century ago, that foretold that 100 years later (where we are now), there would be a growing fight between socialism and capitalism.
When I told my father in the early 80s that I didn't like capitalism (the advent of the yuppies), he said to me that I was describing the excesses of capitalism.
While he speaks about his concern for inequality, he does not seeem to realize that profit is 100% the cause of the massive inequality we have. (This does not mean that people can't earn unequal amounts.) Nor does he realize that he made his fortunate thorugh speculation (futures), and that in order for him to make that money, others had to lose.
If he does realize that, then he appears to be okay with it.
So what I want to know from you is why you think that Ray Dalio is 'one of the good guys.' I think Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn are some of the good guys.
