I am relocating to Germany on the 14th April. I am able to do this because I am a dual national, and I have German nationality. Until I read through various documents and websites yesterday, I had no idea that Germany was a welfare state. GERMANY IS A WELFARE STATE AND IT SAYS SO ON ITS WEBSITE. WTF?

Had my daughter and I gone to college there, we would not have had student loans to repay. I can't believe that degree of assistance Germans get. Of course, they have a strong work ethic, and they are very, very well-educated, and they can continue to learn throughout their lives without bankrupting theselves.

And Germany happens to be one of the major producers in the world.

How is that possible if business and people have to pay taxes? After all, don't the right in America insist that no country can work well if people have to pay high taxes???
