I am a reader. I have been a reader for 63 out of my 70 years. I do not wish to have a relationship with the writer. That is true for all real readers. I am not here to build social relationships with writers. i am here to read.

Certainly, I am willing to answer questions from my readers - but not to build relationships with them. I don't have time to build relationships. I am too busy reading and writing.

I also happen to disagree that readers read because they have a parasocial relationship with the writer. Readers read because what they read is fascinating.
