How would you like them to phrase it. With respect, would you like them to say "Well, we think people who belive in God are stupid and ignorant, and we don't particularly want to be in that environment."

That would be an extremely offensive thing to say, and I don't think they should say somethng like that. So, of course, they use more sophisticated language.
