How do you catch cheating students? Stop giving them multiple choice questions. Get them to write essays in class. My last 5 years of senior school demanded essays for all exam questions. Believe me, it is virtually impossible to ask for an essay which asks for documenting facts and asking a student to draw conclusions from those facts.
