How about the bullarkey that homes are a way of increasing wealth, and so they have become a means of speculation. Ergo, prices have increased to the point where most people cannot afford them. Thus one form of emotional security and physical safety goes out of the window.

Homes should NOT be bought to increase wealth. Prices should be kept down, and each person should only be permitted one home.

Oh, wait, nevermind. One cannot say these things to people who are focused on wealth building. Happily, in the next 5 years, thee will be so many floods in so many places wiping out homes that a whole new meaning will be given to homes - places of shelter. Oh, wait. Wasn't that what they were originally meant to be?
