Hi, thanks for your response. The baby boomers (which you are) destroyed the systemt got them to where they (and you) are now.

So, no, you're not the exception that proves the rule. Many baby boomers got very rich on the old system, and then closed the door behind them.

Money and resources are the same thing. You had resources - You had eduated parents, a DNA gift, cheap education, etc. Even if baby boomers didn't have rich parents, America provided many resources, including an affordable college education. It doesn't do that any longer.

What you did half a century ago in a very different world is not possible for people today.

College fees are now so expensive, it's not possible to have a vacation job that pays for it all. The introcution of the neoliberal economic system by Thatcher and Reagan screwed the economy for anyone coming after the boomers.

I have no idea how writers spend decades learning to write. It's a talent. You either have it or not. Years ago, I read that all the top international bestselling authors had IQs in excess of 140.
